Quality International School (Q.I.S) Yaounde is a group of schools (Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Primary, Secondary and High Schools) that meet the 21st century educational needs of children from the ages of two to seventeen years. The School offers students an education that is without equal in Cameroon
Located in the Center region of Cameroon, the Q.I.S’s half-hectare main campus includes the Annex campus (Day-care, pre-nursery and Nursery 1), and the Main Campus (Nursery 2 - Upper Sixth).
The student to teacher ratio is 8:1, and the average class size is 30 students. More than 75% of the staff have a master’s (or higher) degree.
The student body comprises approximately half boys and half girls, and about 20% are receiving more than 3 million FCFA in financial assistance. Financial assistance is based entirely on demonstrated financial need; only after students are admitted and their tuition needs assessed is financial assistance offered. The Class of 2021 is comprised of students coming from more than 50 different grade schools.
